In January 2005, Brooke formed her first production company, Gala Films which helmed her award-winning debut short film "Forced Entry." It was a semi-finalist at the Action/Cut short film competition, winner of "Best of the Fest", "Best Comedy" & "Best Supporting Actor" at the Great lakes International Film Festival; and a top-five finalist for the Rosemount Diamond Award at the Jackson Hole Film Festival; recognizing "the next generation of Australian Film Talent."
