Kyle Thomas Schmidt
Kyle Thomas Schmidt is an actor, director and stunt performer living in Los Angeles, California. He recently completed work as part of the ensemble cast in the horror feature film "Malady" and is slated to perform as the lead, Thomas Novacheck, in the Tony nominated play "Venus in Fur." He has performed in feature films, television shows, commercials and studies acting at the Stella Adler Academy of Acting in Los Angeles.
Kyle wrote and directed his first short film in 2019 titled: On The Other Side. He worked with Luis Carballar, editor of Alejandro G. IñárrituIt's film "Amores Perros" and composer/vocalist, Tori Letzler, whose work includes: Captain Marvel, Wonder Woman and the Television show "Vikings."
On The Other Side is in the film festival circuit and recently won best short film at Female Voices Rock Film Festival along with garnering best short film nominations at Oaxaca Film Festival and the Imagen Awards. The film is set to be released in 2021 and a feature film is in development.
Kyle has performed stunt work for HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm, films and web series.
