Kristopher Wente
American actor Kristopher Wente was born March 2nd, 1985 in Modesto, CA to Douglas and Kimberly Wente, the former a heavy truck parts salesperson and the latter an artistic director. Kris taught school in Brooklyn, New York through Teacher for America. In 2011 he left the classroom to pursue his dream of acting. His first adult stage appearance was as Paul Bratter in Barefoot in the Park with Director Johnny Peppers at the Pull-Tight theater near Nashvile, TN. Later roles included a zealous grad student in a stage adaptation of John Updike's novel Roger's Version, Carrasco in the Man of La Mancha, Clown #2 in the 39 Steps, and many others.
Screen roles include include character parts on AMC's Turn and Lodge 49, and movie roles opposite the likes of Louis Gossett Jr., Tommy Flannagin, Thomas Jane, and most recently opposite Tom Holland in 2021's Cherry.
He lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Catherine Eure (HBO's Watchmen), children, and animal children.
