Kristin Clarke
Kristin Alyse Clarke @kristclarkeee (born March 12), known professionally as Kristin Clarke is an African American-Barbadian Film and Theatre actress. Clarke was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan to an African American father and a Afri-Caribbean mother. She attended Groves high school for her sophomore year where she enrolled in their drama program. Kristin found her love for Theatre during her high school years and later went on to attend local auditions throughout Detroit, Michigan.
Clarke made her acting debut October 2018 in the crime thriller First Lady, shortly thereafter, she landed her first lead role in the romantic comedy Chocolate Kiss as Ashley Valentine seen on Amazon Prime Video. Kristins latest film Paper Heart can be seen on the streaming platform Tubi.
She is the great niece of Film and Theatre Actress Dorothy Dandridge, the first African-American film star to be nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress, which was for her performance in Carmen Jones (1954); the great gran daughter of Singer, Actress, and Dancer Vivian Dandridge; and the great gran daughter of Singer, Composer, Actor and Writer Emmet "Babe" Wallace.
